The Dallas Track Tour
Last summer, The 1776 brought Dallas runners together for one morning of racing, competition, and community — and you showed up.
This year, we're making it a series.
Three events. Three chances to race, connect, and test your fitness in a low-key, no-frills environment.
Free to enter, open to everyone, and designed for runners of all levels who just want to compete.
The Cinco De Ks
Saturday, May 2 | 7:30AM | Lake Highlands High School Track | 5K
Kick off the summer the right way — fast, fun, and with people who actually want to race. The Cinco de Ks is your first chance to put a time on the board and find out exactly where your fitness stands. Seeded heats mean you're racing people at your level, so come ready to compete.
The Midsummer Medley
Wednesday, June 3 | 6:00 PM | JJ Pearce High School Track
1600 | Distance Medley Relay (1200, 400, 800, 1600)
Two events, one electric Wednesday evening — go after a solo 1600 time trial, then team up for a Distance Medley Relay and see what you can do with a baton in hand. Whether you're a miler at heart or just relay-curious, this one's going to be a good time.
The 1776
Saturday, July 4 | 7:30AM | Germany Park Track | 1776 Yards
There's no better way to spend your Fourth of July morning than running 1776 yards in the Dallas heat with a few hundred of your closest friends. Predict your finish time, race your heat, and find out if you know yourself as well as you think you do — closest prediction wins bragging rights and maybe a little more.
